How many of us start out strong in our New Years resolutions, but find ourselves struggling to integrate our big dreams into our everyday realities? New years is a beautiful time where we cast vision for the year that is ahead. It can be a daunting task; however, to maintain a resolution over an entire year. And though we believe that casting clear, annual vision is of incredible value, this leap year, we are inviting you to practice the art of finding the EPIC in the EVERYDAY. We are challenging YOU to create a Leap Day resolution

What is a Leap Day resolution? You might ask.

A Leap Day resolution is a decision to take February 29th (a day that only comes once every FOUR years) and do something intentional that will have a positive effect on your life, or the lives of others.

It can be as simple as taking your spouse out for an adventure- you know, that adventure they've always wanted to go on, but have never had the time? It could be taking some time to paint those ugly walls in your guest bedroom, making it a place of peace for the people you host. It can be something big, like taking that first step to launch your own business. Or it can be small, like buying a coffee for the stranger in line behind you. There are so many ways we can take the mundane moments in life, and make them extraordinary (watch the video above for more ideas and Leap Day inspiration).

As you may gather, the possibilities are endless. The only "requirement" of this challenge is that your Leap Day resolution should be intentional and measurable. At the end of February 29th, you should be able to say, "Yes, I accomplished my leap day resolution. I made a difference today." Whether it is a small act of love towards yourself, an intentional act of kindness towards another, or a gigantic leap of faith towards pursuing your dreams-- you can make this extra special, yet ordinary Monday, a purposeful one.

Because we want as many people as possible to experience this fun challenge, we are inviting you to do two things:

1. Go on Facebook, and share your #leapdayresolution with us! Tag us using @cultureofthefew so that we will be able to see your idea, and share it with others!

2. After Leap Day, revisit this blog page, and share with us below how your #leapdayresolution was accomplished!

We can't wait to hear how your Leap Day resolution makes a difference this year!
